A delivery driver from Egypt was attacked by minors in Argyroupoli. One arrest has been made, and two more individuals have been identified.

The case of a robbery committed by minors against a food delivery driver in Argyroupoli on the night of December 2 has been solved by the Greek-Alimos Police Department.

A 17-year-old local was arrested by officers of the DIAS Team in the area of Ilioupoli, and two additional suspects have been identified, with charges of robbery filed against them.

The case also includes six other individuals, the parents of the suspects, who are charged with neglecting to supervise their children.

The Brutal Attack

Specifically, the minor suspects placed a food order through a popular delivery platform on the night of December 2.

When the 31-year-old Egyptian delivery driver arrived at the designated delivery address, the suspects were waiting for him. After attacking him violently, they took the food order and fled. They attempted to steal his money pouch, but they were unsuccessful.

The audacity and brutality of the attack were evident as they continued to beat him while he was lying on the ground.

As part of the investigation into the robbery, and after utilizing informational data and evidence, the suspects, who are local minors aged 16 and 17, were identified.

The case file has been submitted to the competent prosecutor.
