A state of alert has been declared by the authorities for 33-year-old resident doctor Alexis Tsikopoulos, whose whereabouts have been unknown since the evening of Sunday, December 7, in Heraklion, Crete.
The young doctor’s car, which was found in Apokoronas, Chania, is considered particularly concerning and has shifted the focus of the investigation to the area.
According to information from the TV show “Fos sto Tunnel,” the 33-year-old left his home in Heraklion driving his car in an unknown direction. A neighbor and family friend reported seeing him leave on Sunday around 4 p.m.
The car was discovered three days later, on Wednesday, December 10, abandoned in the village of Feres, Chania, in a remote area. The vehicle broke down and became immobilized, and the authorities believe that he continued on foot. A witness reported seeing him at a kiosk in the village of Kypseli on Monday, December 8.
His phone remains switched off, and he does not have any identification documents with him.
He has short blonde hair, brown eyes, stands 1.94 meters tall, and has a normal build.
The LIFE LINE service has activated the Silver Alert Social Alarm to mobilize everyone for his search, as his life may be in danger.
