Disappearance of Lora: ‘We are waiting for you, give us a sign’ – The plea from her parents

“For the seventh day, 16-year-old Lora from Patras has been missing, with her parents making a plea to their daughter to return home.

‘Lora, where are you? Please give us a sign that you are okay. We are worried about you. And Chanel, Tiger, and Plombirdschik are waiting for you too. Wherever you are, know that we love you, we are waiting for you, and we want to hear everything that concerns you so that we can find solutions together,’ is the message from her father, as heard on the show ‘To Proino.’

The authorities have put under scrutiny the videos from the Zografou area, in which Lora is seen. In addition to the initial footage showing her arriving by taxi in Athens and later moving along Mikras Asias Street, new material has also been found, where the 16-year-old appears in a café on that street as well as in a pharmacy in the area.

In fact, according to witnesses, she was also seen in a supermarket in the area and in a jewelry store, also on Mikras Asias Street, attempting to sell jewelry that she had in her possession.

‘She asked me if we buy gold. I told her no, we don’t buy gold, and that she could contact another colleague further down the road. It didn’t cross our minds when we saw her that this girl was 16 years old,’ said the owner of the jewelry store to Mega.

The authorities believe that the 16-year-old Lora is staying in an apartment in Zografou, near the university campus, and that she is receiving support from a person who was waiting for her in Athens, where the minor has been since last Thursday.

The Hellenic Police suspects that this person is someone she met via social media.

Why Lora Disappeared

The reasons for her departure have not been clarified, but a friend of hers stated that she was struggling with the change of environment due to the family’s move from abroad to Greece. “In general, she had mentioned many times that the change from Germany to Greece was very difficult for her. Until she got to know people, until she learned the language, and along with all of this, she faced difficulties at school.”

In fact, according to reports from ERT, relatives of the young girl in Germany stated that her relationship with her father was particularly conflict-ridden. Specifically, there are reports of abusive behavior by her father towards her.

This is said to have been the reason why she was temporarily hosted in a facility in Germany.
