Elena Paparizou: The first message after her admission to hospital

Elena Paparizou posted her first message on her personal Instagram account after being admitted to hospital.

It is recalled that, following a bout of severe discomfort during the filming of The Voice, the singer needed to be hospitalised.

In her message, she refers to her replacement by Kostis Maraveyas, whom she warmly thanks, stressing that she will soon return stronger than ever.

“I feel deeply grateful and thank you all from the bottom of my heart,” Elena Paparizou adds, accompanying her post with a photo of the chair she has on The Voice.

Elena Paparizou’s post in full:

“After 9 wonderful years on The Voice, the moment came when, for the first time, I was unable to be present at some recordings for something I deeply love and that has accompanied me through such important moments of my life…

At the previous recording, when I had to hand over the songs to #TeamHelena, two very dear people were by my side: my best man, Panos Mouzourakis, and my beloved friend, Giorgos Kapoutzidis. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their support and love.

And now… at the recordings that I unfortunately had to miss, the best man of my best man appeared — the one and only, my Kostis. With his presence, he never let my chair seem empty and helped ensure that the right decisions were made for Team Helena. His generosity, his love and his humour became a real source of support during these days.

I feel deeply grateful and thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I will return even stronger. My Kostis, I love you very much! The best is yet to come.”
