Farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers remain at the roadblocks that have been set up in recent days at key points in Central and Western Macedonia, with their presence growing stronger each day.
At the same time, those gathered in Thessaly and Epirus have proceeded with road and border-post blockades, demanding solutions to the problems plaguing the primary sector.
At the Malgara tolls on the Thessaloniki–Athens National Highway, farmers from the Delta Municipality and the wider area have kept the lane toward Athens closed since December 1, while the lane toward Thessaloniki opens and closes periodically.
Since yesterday, truck drivers have joined them, and today taxi owners are also expected to arrive, as they are carrying out a 48-hour strike until Thursday morning at 05:00.
The blockade at the Evzoni customs station, on the Greece–North Macedonia border, which was also set up on December 1, remains in place. Farmers from the Paionia Municipality and the wider area are carrying out symbolic blockades of the entrance and exit, allowing the passage of trucks transporting Greek products and vehicles in emergency situations.
Protests at the site take place mainly at midday and in the evening, with three-hour traffic stoppages. Today, farmers from Giannitsa in Pella are also expected at the location, after deciding yesterday to gather at the Paralímni junction and then move toward the customs station.
The blockade at the entrance of Chalkidona, on the old Thessaloniki–Edessa National Road, also remains in place (since 1/12), with mobilizations usually taking place at midday and involving a three-hour road closure.
Since December 1, farmers and livestock breeders have also been gathering at the entrance of Alexandria in Imathia, and as they decided in last night’s meeting, they will move today toward the Niselio junction on the Thessaloniki–Veria section of the Egnatia Motorway.
At the Kouloura junction, also in Imathia, farmers and livestock breeders have been present since yesterday (Tuesday, December 2), although they have not yet proceeded with road closures.
New farmer–livestock blockades were set up yesterday at the Gypsokhori junction in Pella, as well as at the Filotas junction on the Kozani–Florina vertical axis of the Pan-European Corridor X, where beekeepers are also participating.
Meanwhile, today at 12 noon, farmers and livestock breeders, along with representatives of other labor unions in the Serres region, following a decision made in their assembly yesterday, will gather at the Lefkona intersection, intending to reach the Promachonas customs station on the Greece–Bulgaria border. At the same time, other groups have decided to move toward the Kerdyllia junction.

E-65 blockade, Karditsa: More than 2,000 tractors, forming a line over two kilometers long.
New Trikala blockade: Being set up today near the Megalochori junction.
