The death of a 40-year-old butcher in Mavroneri, Kilkis, shocked the community. The man accidentally severed his femoral artery while working.

Tragedy struck on Wednesday in the village of Mavroneri, Kilkis, when a 40-year-old butcher tragically lost his life after accidentally severing his femoral artery during work.
The unfortunate man was at his shop, cutting meat with a cleaver, when he suffered a serious injury. Despite immediate medical efforts at both the Kilkis Hospital and the “Genimatas” Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
The funeral of the 40-year-old will take place on Thursday, November 13, at the Holy Church of Saint Charalampos in Mavroneri.
