Metro: Service Suspension on Line 2 from Tuesday – How Passengers Will Be Served

To inform and better serve passengers, the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) announced the launch of temporary circular bus route X13 “Fix – Agios Dimitrios”, which will operate from Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to December 12, 2025.

The route will run Sunday through Thursday only, replacing service for Metro Line 2 stations Neos Kosmos, Agios Ioannis, and Dafni, which will close nightly from 21:40 due to rail replacement works.

• From Syntagma to Elliniko: 21:40
• From Neos Kosmos to Elliniko: 21:44
• From Neos Kosmos to Anthoupoli: 21:51
• From Agios Ioannis to Elliniko: 21:45
• From Agios Ioannis to Anthoupoli: 21:50
• From Dafni to Elliniko: 21:47
• From Dafni to Anthoupoli: 21:48

The starting and terminal point of route X13 will be located at the specially arranged area of Fix Metro Station, on Syngrou Avenue, next to the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Bus route (circular):
From the starting point: straight on Syngrou → right on Petmeza → right on Kallirrois → left on Ambrosiou Frantzi → continue on Kasomouli → right on Vouliagmenis → right on Papanastasiou → left into the bus terminal area at Dafni → left on Agiou Dimitriou → right on Vouliagmenis → continue past Agios Dimitrios → U-turn left at the traffic lights (Vouliagmenis & Agiou Konstantinou) → continue on Vouliagmenis → Ethnikis Antistaseos → Ilioupoleos → left on Ilia Iliou → left on Vouliagmenis → right on Kasomouli → continue on Ambrosiou Frantzi → right on Syngrou → return to Fix.
