The 23-year-old confessed murderer will testify today, Wednesday (March 18), for the killing of the 20-year-old in Kalamaria, while the 19-year-old has been given a new deadline to testify tomorrow.

The 19-year-old, who was arrested for involvement in the bloody incident that cost the life of the 20-year-old last Thursday night in Kalamaria, was supposed to testify today, Wednesday (March 18), before the first examining magistrate in Thessaloniki.

However, following a request from his defense, he was granted a new deadline to testify tomorrow.

The 19-year-old, who was at the scene with the young victim and another person, faces three charges: gang activity, aggravated dangerous bodily harm, and possession of objects that can cause bodily harm—two of the charges jointly with the aggravating provisions of the new Sports Law.

The same charges are faced by the second individual from the same group, who is still being sought.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old confessed murderer is expected to testify at noon. He will be called to explain the charges of premeditated murder and illegal possession and use of weapons. During the preliminary investigation, he claimed that he committed the crime in self-defense after an unprovoked attack beneath his apartment.
