Two cars collided under unclear circumstances in Nea Smyrni. Two people were taken to hospital, one of them in serious condition.

A traffic accident occurred in the early morning hours at the intersection of Eleftheriou Venizelou and Agnoston Martyron streets in Nea Smyrni.
According to initial information, two passenger cars collided under circumstances that remain unclear, resulting in two people being trapped inside the vehicles.
Two fire service vehicles with six firefighters rushed to the scene and carried out an operation to free the two occupants, who were then transported by EKAV ambulances to hospital.
As a result of the collision, one of the cars ended up crashing at high speed into a tram pole.
As reported by ERT, one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. However, the girl who was in the car was transported unconscious, according to the testimony of the mother of the lightly injured person.
An investigation is underway to determine the causes of the traffic accident.
