A 17-year-old lost his life in a traffic accident that took place on the night of Tuesday, February 4, in Sindos, Thessaloniki. According to an announcement from the police, a truck driven by a 46-year-old collided with a passenger car driven by the 17-year-old, who was accompanied by his mother.
As a result of the violent collision, the young driver’s friend, who was sitting in the back seats of the car, was injured.
The 17-year-old was transported by an ambulance to a hospital in Thessaloniki, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to the same announcement, the 46-year-old truck driver was arrested and later released on the verbal instruction of the prosecutor.
An investigation into the incident is being carried out by the police officers of the Chalcedon Traffic Department.
