Shops and supermarkets will be open today, operating under the holiday trading hours. Everything you need to know.

Increased foot traffic is expected today, Sunday (28/12), in shops, as many consumers are looking to make purchases ahead of New Year’s Day.

The aim of the extended opening hours is to ease pressure on the market during the final days of the year and to facilitate both consumers and professionals.

Shop opening hours on Sunday

The recommended opening hours for retail stores provide for operation from 11:00 a.m. until the afternoon, noting that some chains may apply slight variations.

11:00–18:00: Department stores, shopping malls and large retail chains
