A serious accident occurred at Tourkovounia when a young man fell from a great height while flying a kite.
According to initial reports, the young man was at the location when — under circumstances that remain unclear — he lost his balance and fell into the void.
The competent authorities were immediately notified and an ambulance transported him to Evangelismos Hospital, where he is being treated.
