In Patras, a paramedic from the EKAB was beaten by a drunken man while providing first aid at a café.

The brutal assault on the EKAB paramedic, the victim being the worker himself, occurred on Thursday evening in Patras when he was called to a café to offer first aid.
While providing first aid, a man in an intoxicated state attacked him.
The incident took place in the Agia Triada area of Patras, and immediately a police patrol car and forces from the Crime Prevention and Suppression Units (OPKE) arrived at the scene.
Both the paramedic and the attacker were taken to the Third Police Department of Patras, where the paramedic filed a lawsuit for the assault.
