Man broke into schoolgirls’ cabin naked during trip to Crete

A serious incident occurred during the night on a passenger ferry bound for Crete, during a school trip, when a man entered a cabin of female students naked.

Significant alarm was caused in the early hours of Friday (March 27) on a ship heading to Crete, when a man entered the cabin of schoolgirls traveling to the island as part of a school excursion.
According to Cretalive and eyewitness accounts from passengers, at around 2:30 a.m. a man of Bulgarian origin, approximately 45 years old, allegedly left his cabin naked and headed to a cabin where four female students from the 1st Vocational High School of Acharnes were staying.
Witnesses report that the man entered the cabin and locked the door, causing panic among the girls, who began shouting and calling for help.
He then allegedly opened the door and returned to his own cabin.
According to the same accounts, students who were still awake were informed of the incident, and a group of them went to his cabin and knocked on his door.
When the 45-year-old man opened the door, he was attacked by the students, who then led him, injured, to the ship’s lounge.
The crew then intervened, took custody of the man, gave him clothes, and confined him to a designated area of the ship before later transferring him to the garage, where he remained until he was handed over to port authorities in the morning.
