The Three-Member Court of Appeals for Felonies decided the guilt of two defendants in the case of the explosion at an apartment in Ampelokipi on October 31, 2024. Nikos Romanos and two others were declared innocent.
After more than 17 months in prison, Nikos Romanos is now free, along with Dimitris P. and Argyrios K.
The court ruled that there were doubts about their involvement.
Mariana Manoura and Dimitra Z. were convicted for various offenses: involvement in a criminal organization, manufacturing explosives, possession of explosives, explosives devices, guns, and ammunition, as well as causing damage to property.
It is noteworthy that the prosecutor of the Three-Member Court of Appeals for Felonies, Alexandra Pischina, had proposed the conviction of two defendants for the explosion at the apartment in Ampelokipi on October 31, 2024, while requesting the acquittal of Nikos Romanos and two others due to “serious doubts” about their involvement.
