Former Survivor contestant Kostas Papadopoulos arrested for alleged assault of minor

Former Survivor contestant Kostas Papadopoulos has been arrested after being accused of assaulting a minor who allegedly robbed his shop.

Authorities proceeded with the arrest of former Survivor player Kostas Papadopoulos following a complaint concerning the beating of a minor.

The incident reportedly took place last Saturday in Menidi, where the well-known pastry chef owns a store.

The 14-year-old’s side claims that Kostas Papadopoulos assaulted the minor, causing injuries that required stitches, and then placed him in the trunk of his car.

Papadopoulos, however, denies assaulting the teenager, claiming instead that he chased him and that the boy fell and injured himself during the pursuit.

According to Papadopoulos, the group had entered his shop three times in order to steal, and there were five individuals involved in total.

Specifically, speaking on ANT1’s morning show To Proino, the former Survivor contestant stated:

Within 24 hours, they broke in three times. The previous day they had stolen my mother’s bag, and on Sunday they stole my employee’s phone from the shop. I knew who they were and the route they follow, so I caught them there. The day before, I had found my mother’s bag thrown away, along with her documents, cards, etc. When I ran after them, there were five of them. The 14-year-old fell down and I restrained him. The phone they had stolen from the employee was right in front of him. I put him in the car to take him to the police. This 14-year-old has an extensive criminal record, two pages long. He is known to the authorities”.
