The taxi driver who fell earlier into the sea at the port of Piraeus was found unconscious.

The incident, which had a tragic outcome, occurred on Thursday morning (June 4) when a taxi fell into the sea at the port of Piraeus.
The event took place shortly after 08:00 a.m. at Gate E4 under circumstances that are still unclear. Authorities immediately sounded the alarm and quickly set up a rescue bridge.
Despite the extensive efforts of the Coast Guard and the divers from the MYA unit, the vehicle’s driver was retrieved dead. He was taken by ambulance without vital signs to a hospital, where his death was confirmed.
