Dodoni Rally: Race car crashes into spectators, 9-year-old suffers minor injuries

A rally car veered into a group of spectators during the Dodoni Rally, resulting in minor injuries to a 9-year-old spectator.

A traffic accident occurred on the morning of Sunday, June 14, during the Dodoni Rally.

According to initial reports from ERT, a rally car crashed into spectators, resulting in minor injuries to one spectator.

The accident took place on Stage 2 during the first special stage of the event, when the race car veered off the road.

As reported by the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA), a nine-year-old boy who was watching the race suffered a minor leg injury. The child did not require hospitalization and was taken home by his father.

There was also a report of a second incident involving the route inspection vehicle, which veered off course and caused material damage.

The rally was temporarily suspended following the incidents.
