Four elderly siblings were found burned to death in a container home where a fire had broken out in the Konitsa area of Ioannina.

A tragedy occurred in the early morning hours today, Monday (15/06), in the town of Konitsa, after a fire broke out in a container home, where four charred bodies were discovered.
According to initial reports cited by thespro.gr, the victims were four elderly siblings: a 76-year-old man and three women aged 85, 83, and 69, who were living in the container.
Their identities are expected to be officially confirmed by the relevant authorities.
Five fire engines with ten firefighters from Konitsa and Ioannina are operating at the scene. Also present are the Investigation Department of the Ioannina Fire Services Directorate, officers of the Hellenic Police, and an EKAB ambulance.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, while the firefighting operation is still ongoing.
