A violent incident between two motorcyclists occurred on Monday evening (15/6) at the intersection of Konstantinoupoleos and Agiou Meletiou streets in Kolonos, sparked by a disagreement over right of way at a guarded railway crossing.
According to video evidence that has come to light and is cited by ERT, the two riders began arguing intensely after stopping their motorcycles at the location.
The verbal confrontation quickly escalated, with the two men exchanging insults and then coming to blows. The incident was not confined to the road, as it moved into the middle of the guarded railway crossing, where the two continued fighting, even using their helmets as weapons.
The incident unfolded in front of residents and shop owners in the area, who watched in shock as the fight took place. Of particular concern is the fact that this is a location with frequent train traffic, making the incident even more dangerous.
Despite the intensity of the clash, the two men eventually stopped fighting, returned to their motorcycles, and left the scene as if nothing had happened.
