Crime in Aigio: Scenarios of evidence tampering
It is noted that police authorities are scrutinizing the possibility of an organized effort to tamper with the scene of the double murder in Aigio, as investigations continue at an intensive pace with repeated checks at the crime scene.
The focus is on indications of the use of cleaning agents, as well as objects that have not yet been located.
According to ERT, investigators are attempting to answer the question of whether there was a coordinated effort to destroy evidence and who might have a motive to alter the crime scene. At the same time, searches continue in the wider area to locate the 54-year-old woman’s broken mobile phone, as well as any biological material.
According to police sources, the first officers to arrive at the house encountered an image that did not resemble a typical scene of such a violent crime, while a strong smell of cleaning products was recorded. At the same time, basic cleaning items were not found, a fact that reinforces the suspicions of the authorities.
