A video captured the moment a 77-year-old man attacked two brothers with a trident, forcing them to run for their lives.

Scenes of terror unfolded on Wednesday afternoon (June 17) in Piraeus, when a 77-year-old allegedly attacked two brothers with a… trident, following an argument over a parking space.
The incident was caught on video, which has now been made public, showing the two brothers, aged 42 and 38, running in panic to get away from the elderly man, who was allegedly brandishing the makeshift weapon.
According to the police, the incident occurred at approximately 14:00 on Bizaniou Street 13, when the three men began arguing over a parking spot. The tension quickly escalated, leading the 77-year-old to attempt—as stated in the case file—to injure the two brothers using a trident approximately 130 cm long.
DIAS police unit officers rushed to the scene immediately, where they immobilized the elderly man and took him to the Dimotiko Theatro (Municipal Theater) Police Station. The object was confiscated as evidence.
A case file has been opened against the 77-year-old for attempted dangerous bodily harm and violation of weapons legislation, and he is being led before the competent Prosecutor.
