Two earthquakes measuring 5.3 and 4.6 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Crete, raising concern among local residents.
The two tremors were recorded just a few minutes apart.
The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.3, occurred at 11:37 a.m., approximately 6 kilometers east of Gavdos, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
The second earthquake, measuring 4.6, struck a few minutes earlier, about 5 kilometers east-northeast of Gavdos.
