Arrests of supporters who were trafficking drugs, carrying out extortions and are also responsible for robbery and attempted murder.

Ten arrested hooligans of Panathinaikos are being taken to the prosecutor at this time, including minors, members of a criminal organisation dismantled by the Anti-Organised Sports Violence Unit, while a total of 39 accused are included in the case file.

It is essentially a network consisting of two criminal organisations and one gang that had divided their activities and originate mainly from clubs in Western Attica.

The members who were arrested yesterday following a major police operation were trafficking drugs, carrying out extortions and are also responsible for robbery and attempted murder, while they had carried out violent attacks against supporters of Olympiacos, Atromitos and Larissa. The detainees are charged with:

  • criminal organisation,
  • arson endangering persons and property,
  • explosion endangering a person,
  • manufacture and possession of explosive materials,
  • attempted murder,
  • bodily harm,
  • damage to foreign property,
  • robbery,
  • extortion,
  • weapons and flares offences,
  • drug offences (possession, trafficking) and
  • violations of sports legislation.

In addition, 7 accused are parents of the arrested minors, charged with neglect of supervision of minors.

The group’s activity appears to have been established at least since August 2025. Official announcements from the Hellenic Police are also expected on the case.
