Criminal charges for one felony and one misdemeanor have been brought against three people involved in the events that allegedly took place inside the Kypseli apartment where a frozen infant was also discovered.
The three are a Greek man, a German woman and an Afghan man, who are believed to have been living in the apartment along with three minors, including a pregnant 15-year-old girl.
Following their arrests, they were brought before a prosecutor, who subsequently charged them with drug trafficking, a felony, and failure to report the discovery of a dead person, a misdemeanor. The three were then referred to an investigating judge, where they may request and be granted additional time to prepare their statements.
Meanwhile, the police investigation is continuing in an effort to determine the circumstances under which the infant died, while it has already emerged that the baby sustained 10 stab wounds.
Once the investigation is completed, the evidence will be forwarded to the prosecutorial authorities, which will decide how the case should proceed.
