Voula: Woman killed after being hit by bus on Vouliagmenis Avenue

A fatal road accident occurred on Thursday morning (October 29) in Voula, when a bus struck a female pedestrian on Vouliagmenis Avenue.

According to the Traffic Police, the incident took place near the junction with Dervenakion Street, as the elderly woman was crossing the road.

The woman was picked up unconscious by an ambulance crew from the National Emergency Aid Centre (EKAB) and transported to Asklipieio Voulas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The accident has caused traffic congestion along the affected section of Vouliagmenis Avenue.

The circumstances and causes of the accident have not yet been established.
