Another femicide has shocked Greece, this time in the city of Drama, where a police officer allegedly stabbed his wife to death before taking his own life.

A family tragedy unfolded in Drama when a police officer reportedly stabbed his wife, who was also a police officer, and then ended his own life.
According to available information, the violent incident took place inside the couple’s home. Police officers who rushed to the scene found the woman critically injured and fighting for her life, while an immediate manhunt was launched to locate the perpetrator, who had fled the area.
A short time later, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
Hours later, her husband was found dead inside his car. According to the same reports, the man is believed to have died by suicide after using his service weapon.
