Final Four 2026: How the train stations “Faliro” and “Thissio” will operate

Emergency traffic measures on Metro Line 1 (ISAP) were announced by STASY for Friday, May 22, due to increased security measures implemented ahead of the EuroLeague Final Four.

According to the company’s announcement, following instructions from the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), the Thissio and Faliro stations will operate temporarily solely to transport fans to the Irini station, where OAKA is located.

Specifically, Thissio station will enter a special operating status from 13:00, while Faliro station will do so from 14:00. Special train services will run from these points towards Irini station, without intermediate stops.

At the same time, other trains on Line 1 will pass through these two stations without stopping to serve passengers until the fan transfers are completed.

STASY clarifies that Thissio and Faliro stations will return to normal operation and reopen to the general public immediately after the special services conclude.
