Metro: Which Line 3 stations will close earlier starting Sunday

From Sunday 28/06, the stations “Megaro Moussikis,” “Ampelokipoi,” “Panormou,” and “Katechaki” will close at 21:40 on Sundays through Thursdays, two and a half hours earlier than the scheduled end of service, due to rail replacement works on Athens Metro Line 3, according to an announcement by STASY.

Train services on Line 3 during the working hours will operate between the stations “Dimotiko Theatro – Evangelismos” and “Ethniki Amyna – D. Plakentias – Airport.”

The last trains before station closures will depart as follows:

from DIMOTIKO THEATRO towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:05,
from SYNTAGMA towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:30,
from EVANGELISMOS towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:32,
from MEGARO MOUSIKIS towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:33,
from AMPELOKIPOI towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:35,
from PANORMOU towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:37,
from KATECHAKI towards D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:39,

After the start of technical works at 21:40, trains heading to the Airport will depart from the station Ethniki Amyna, and trains arriving from the Airport will terminate their route at Ethniki Amyna station.

To serve passengers, OASA will operate a temporary bus line X21 (“Evangelismos Metro Station – Ethniki Amyna Metro Station”) from Sunday to Thursday, from 21:40 until the end of metro service. The line will stop at:
