A hotel employee fell into a pool pump room on the island of Syros and was subsequently airlifted to an Athens hospital.

A serious workplace accident occurred early Tuesday morning (10/09) at a hotel in Syros.
According to syrostoday.gr, a female employee at a local hotel unit was seriously injured this morning when she fell into a pool pump room located on the premises, under circumstances that remain unclear.
The Fire Service was immediately called to extricate the woman, who was then rushed by an EKAV ambulance to the Syros General Hospital.
According to latest reports, the woman is in stable condition. However, due to a head injury sustained during the fall, officials deemed it necessary to airlift her to a hospital in the Attica region for specialized care.
