The disappearance of the 33-year-old resident doctor, whose whereabouts were lost in Heraklion, Crete, on the evening of Sunday, December 7, remains shrouded in mystery.
The father of the young missing man spoke on the “Live Weekend” show and revealed that just hours before the disappearance, his son had contacted him and asked him to come to Crete because he wasn’t feeling well: “On Sunday, he asked me to come. I live in Thessaloniki. He had finished his ENT residency in Crete and was working at the hospital. He said to me, ‘Dad, come, I’m not well, I need to talk to someone.’ I went to Crete on Sunday night, but I couldn’t find him. He had left. His landlady told me that he took the car and left.”
As the father of the 33-year-old said, his son’s car was found two days later, abandoned in Chania: “On Tuesday, his car was found 120 kilometers away. He had nowhere to go. His personal belongings were at home. His phone was with him,” he said.

As revealed by the “Fos sto Tunnel” show on the evening of Friday (12/12), the 33-year-old left his home in Heraklion with his car, heading in an unknown direction, around 4 p.m.
His vehicle was found abandoned in the village of Fres in Chania, in a difficult-to-reach area. It appears to have broken down and was immobilized, with authorities assuming that he continued on foot.
A witness reported seeing him at a kiosk in the village of Kypseli on Monday, December 8. His phone remains off, and he does not have any identification documents with him.
