Maria Mazonakis spoke for the first time after the death of her brother, Giorgos Mazonakis.
As described by an OPEN journalist, who spoke with her, Maria Mazonakis was devastated and overwhelmed with grief following her brother’s tragic death.
Referring to the two doctors who are accused in connection with Giorgos Mazonakis’ death and have been remanded in custody, Maria Mazonakis said: “They are where they should be, and that is where they should remain. Everything else we will discuss in due course.”
At the same time, she said that the family has felt the immense love and support of the public for Giorgos Mazonakis.
