The 43-year-old Greek man, the main suspect in the case of the dead infant in Kypseli, appeared in court this time as the alleged perpetrator of an incident that caused tension during his transfer to the courthouse.

The 43-year-old Greek man, the main suspect in the case of the dead infant at the so-called “house of horrors” in Kypseli, appeared before the Misdemeanors Court in Athens on Thursday (September 3).
This time, he was in the dock as the alleged perpetrator of an incident that occurred during his transfer to the courthouse, where he was due to face criminal charges over drug trafficking.
He has been charged with the misdemeanors of attempted bodily harm against multiple victims, insult, threats, damage to property, violence against public officials and attempted escape from custody.
The trial was ultimately postponed until October 5, 2026, when the hearing is expected to take place.
Before the investigating magistrate on Friday over the infant’s death
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old and his two co-defendants — a 38-year-old German woman and a 26-year-old Afghan man — are expected to appear before an investigating magistrate on Friday, following criminal charges brought against them, depending on the case, for intentional homicide, sexual acts against the 15-year-old girl and other offenses.
According to reports, all three are expected to request and receive a new deadline to give their statements, in order to prepare their defense arguments.
It should be noted that the defendants have already been remanded in custody following their initial statements on Wednesday (September 2), which concerned drug trafficking and failure to report the discovery of a dead person.
