A 5.2 magnitude earthquake shook Cyprus on Wednesday morning. Reports of problems with networks and communications.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.2 rattled parts of Cyprus on Wednesday morning, causing disruptions to networks and communications.
The tremor occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. local time (12 November), shaking the entire island. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter was located 6 kilometers northeast of Paphos, at a shallow depth.
Following the main quake, at least three aftershocks measuring 3.5, 3.6, and 4.7 were recorded, along with several smaller ones.
Cypriot media reported widespread communication and network issues. As Sigmalive.com.cy noted, many residents ran out into open spaces in panic as alarm systems sounded.
Meanwhile, Philenews.com reported that many employees left their workplaces to move outdoors, concerned for their safety. Students were also evacuated from schools and gathered in courtyards, following safety instructions from their teachers.
