HBO Max has arrived in Greece – What it includes, how much it costs

The HBO Max platform has officially launched in Greece, allowing users to subscribe directly for the first time, without intermediaries.
Since January 13, Greek audiences have had access to Warner Bros. Discovery content, including series, films, documentaries, and sports programs.
According to Deadline, in addition to Greece, the service simultaneously debuted in eight other countries, including Germany, Austria, Israel, and Italy, where distribution will be through Prime Video. With this expansion, HBO Max is now available in more than 100 countries worldwide.
What it includes in its content
In Greece, the platform offers a rich collection of HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC, and Max Originals content, with titles that have been loved internationally.
In addition to series premieres such as the prequel to “Game of Thrones,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” the second season of the award-winning medical drama “The Pitt,” and the fourth season of “Industry,” subscribers will also have access to older hits such as “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” “Euphoria,” “House of the Dragon,” “Peacemaker,” “And Just Like That…” as well as classic series such as “Friends,” “The Big Bang Theory,” and “Game of Thrones.”
In addition, the platform will cover the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina live.
The cost of the subscription
Users can choose between two main subscription plans.
The Standard package costs €10.99 per month and supports up to two devices, Full HD resolution, and up to 30 content downloads, while the Premium package is available for €15.99 per month, offering simultaneous use on four devices, 4K Ultra HD quality, Dolby Atmos sound, and up to 100 downloads.
At the same time, the additional Sports package is available at a cost of €3 and with advertising.
The service is also accessible via the Vodafone TV platform, giving subscribers more options for viewing the available content.
