Attiki Odos: Traffic measures extended until 22/2 – Alternative routes

The temporary traffic measures on Attiki Odos are extended until the morning of February 22.

Specifically, following yesterday’s Press Release by the Athens Police Directorate (GADA) regarding the extension of the emergency traffic measures on Attiki Odos, due to the further extension of the emergency heavy maintenance works in the “Liosion” tunnel, the full closure of the following entry ramps to Attiki Odos, in the direction toward the Airport, in the areas of the municipalities of Mandra–Eidyllia, Elefsina, Aspropyrgos, and Fyli, will continue until 06:00 on 22-2-2026, as follows:

• Mandra (Interchange 1)
• Magoula (Interchange 2)
• Aspropyrgos (Interchange 4)
• Aigaleo (Interchange 5)

During the above closures, vehicle traffic will be conducted as follows:

• Toward Athens city center: via Athens Avenue (Leof. Athinon).
• Toward Lamia: via Athens Avenue and Kifisos Avenue (toward Lamia).
• Toward the Airport: via Athens Avenue and Kifisos Avenue (toward Lamia) and through the Metamorfosi interchange (toward the Airport).

It is noted that the section of Attiki Odos from the entrance of the Athens–Corinth National Highway to the Aspropyrgos exit (Interchange 4) is designated exclusively for vehicles wishing to travel toward the Thriassio area.

Drivers are requested to follow the signage placed on the Athens–Corinth National Highway before the entrances to Attiki Odos and to comply with the instructions of traffic police officers.
