The 17-year-old was transferred to the Kos Prosecutor’s Office this morning, where he confessed to fatally injuring his father on the afternoon of Thursday, February 26, 2026, by throwing a metal object at his head.
The Prosecutor of Kos filed criminal charges against him for “murder in the context of domestic violence, in a calm state of mind.”
The 17-year-old, through his lawyer, requested and was granted an extension until Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in order to prepare his defense.
To the police and his lawyers, the 17-year-old said that he never intended to kill his father and that the incident occurred due to the tension that had preceded their argument.
The Timeline of the Murder
The 17-year-old admitted during interrogation on Friday night that he killed his 50-year-old father by throwing a car engine part at his head after an intense argument between them, during which they started throwing objects at each other.
In another area of the workshop, it was revealed that there were other individuals present who did not notice the moment of the fatal injury, making the son later appear to be involved in a random incident
