The woman who was found dead in Kolonos was not pregnant, but was swollen due to liver cirrhosis.

A twist in the femicide case in Kolonos, as it was determined during the autopsy conducted today at noon (2/3) by the coroner on the victim that the 31-year-old was not pregnant after all.

On the contrary, she was suffering from advanced liver cirrhosis, which explained her swelling, something the couple had attributed to pregnancy without visiting a doctor.

It is noted that both the alleged perpetrator and the victim reportedly had issues with substance abuse. However, the coroner also identified numerous brutal blows that the victim had sustained all over her body, which likely worsened her health condition. This confirms the initial assessments and refutes the defendant’s claims that it was an accident.
