What weather to expect for Easter – The forecast by Kolydas

According to the forecast by Theodoros Kolydas, from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, there will be local rains in the eastern and mountainous areas, with a slight increase in temperature.

The Director of the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), Theodoros Kolydas, provided the weather forecast for the Easter days.
According to the meteorologist, from Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, the weather will feature only a few local rains, mainly in the eastern regions, the northern Aegean, Crete, and the mountainous areas.
Specifically, on Holy Thursday, the instability will be a bit more noticeable in Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, eastern Central Greece, and Evia, while in the northern mountains, there may be some light snowfall.
From Holy Friday, the weather will become more limited and short-lived.
As for Easter Sunday, there will be only a few light rains in the morning in the eastern regions and local showers in the afternoon in the mountainous areas, with the temperature showing a slight increase.
