The former Parliament police officer was sentenced to four life terms plus 80 years and 3 months (with 25 years to be served) for abusing his children.

The Mixed Jury Court unanimously found him guilty of multiple and continuous counts of rape, multiple and continuous abuse of a minor, multiple and continuous incest, child pornography, premeditated domestic bodily harm, domestic unlawful violence, illegal carrying of a weapon, and use of a weapon.

He was acquitted only of the misdemeanor charge of illegal possession of a weapon.

The children’s mother was acquitted by majority vote (5–2). According to the court’s reasoning, her actions were due to an “inability to recognize the wrongdoing due to the existence of a significant dilemma.”

Timeline of the case

It is recalled that the case became known in December 2024, with the case file describing a family environment in which repeated incidents of sexual abuse and violence were alleged to have taken place.

The children reportedly testified about what they experienced inside the home, describing acts attributed to their parents, as well as incidents of abuse of the mother by the father.

The mother stated that she acted under a regime of fear and pressure, claiming that she had received threats that put both her and their children in danger.
