A 28-year-old man was injured after a fire broke out aboard a Romanian-flagged yacht that was moored at the Amfilochia Marina.
According to the Hellenic Coast Guard, Coast Guard personnel and four vehicles from the Fire Service were immediately dispatched to the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze.
The injured 28-year-old was picked up by an ambulance from the National Emergency Aid Center (EKAB) and transported to the Amfilochia Health Center, where he received the necessary medical treatment.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the competent authorities.
