The 25-year-old man who had gone missing from Maroussi, Attica, was found dead at a construction site in Agia Paraskevi.

The disappearance of 25-year-old Georgios Kotsavtis, whose whereabouts had been unknown since Monday (12/1) after he went missing from Maroussi, Attica, ended tragically.
According to a statement posted on social media by the missing persons search group Anubis, his body was found on Thursday evening at a construction site in Agia Paraskevi.
The group participated in the search efforts at the request of his relatives.
According to available information, the 25-year-old had left his home in his car and had not communicated with anyone since then.
A Missing Alert had been issued for his disappearance by “The Smile of the Child,” and there was also significant mobilization through social media.
The full statement reads as follows
Following a request on 15/1/2026 from the family of the missing person G.K., who had been missing since 12/1/2026, our team was activated, providing specialized search units to locate him. After analyzing digital evidence by Mr. Nikolaos Kranidiotis and a new official member of our team, we managed to locate the body of the missing person within three hours, in the area of Agia Paraskevi.
Our condolences to his family, and we thank them for their trust.
