Agrinio: Minor accused of repeatedly raping his female classmate

The case involving a minor in Agrinio, who was arrested last Friday (18/9) following a complaint filed by a female classmate of the same age, has taken on a different criminal dimension.

According to the details of the case, the complaint concerns an incident that allegedly took place outside the middle school attended by the two minors.

According to the allegations, the minor is said to have restrained his classmate by holding her hands and then kissed and touched her inappropriately, despite her attempts to move away.

Following the complaint, police authorities launched an investigation and the minor was arrested, while an initial case file was filed against him for insulting sexual dignity. At the same time, his mother was also arrested on charges of neglecting the supervision of a minor.

However, the case later took on a different criminal dimension. According to the same information, the charge against the minor was upgraded by the Prosecutor’s Office and now concerns repeated rape.

After the completion of the summary trial proceedings, the minor was released under restrictive conditions.

These include a change of school environment and a ban on approaching the minor who filed the complaint.

The case is now before the Justice system, which will assess the evidence contained in the case file and the claims of those involved.
