- 26 Φεβρουαρίου 2026 18:32
Traffic regulations will be implemented on sections of Attiki Odos from Friday (27/02/2026) until April 30, 2026, due to asphalt maintenance works, according to an announcement by the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.). The measures will be in effect 24 hours a day throughout this period.
Specifically, there will be a closure of the right lane and the deceleration lane at the Pallini Interchange (Y8) in the direction toward Rafina. During this closure, traffic toward Rafina will be conducted via the remaining lanes, while traffic toward Pallini will be diverted via the Hymettus Ring Road, Agiou Dimitriou Street, entry to the Hymettus Ring Road (toward Athens), and then to the Pallini Interchange.
There will also be a closure of the middle and right lanes, as well as the deceleration lane, at the same interchange toward Rafina. In that case, traffic toward Rafina will move only through the left lane, while traffic toward Pallini will follow the same diversion route via the Hymettus Ring Road and Agiou Dimitriou Street.
Additionally, the entrance ramp toward Rafina at the Pallini Interchange (Y8) will be closed. Traffic toward Rafina will continue through the main lanes, while traffic toward Pallini will be diverted via the Hymettus Ring Road, Pogoniou Street, Marathonos Avenue, and Agiou Dimitriou Street.
In the direction toward Athens, there will be a closure of the acceleration and deceleration lanes at the exit–entry branch of the Pallini Interchange. Traffic toward entry to the Hymettus Ring Road will be diverted via Agiou Dimitriou Street and Marathonos Avenue. Traffic toward Athens will follow the route via the Hymettus Ring Road, Pogoniou Street, Marathonos Avenue, Agiou Dimitriou Street, and back to the Hymettus Ring Road.
There will also be a closure of the right lane between kilometer markers 12.125 and 11.600 in the direction toward Athens. During this closure, traffic toward the Hymettus Ring Road will be diverted via Agiou Dimitriou Street and Marathonos Avenue, while traffic toward Athens will follow the same alternative route via the Hymettus Ring Road, Pogoniou Street, Marathonos Avenue, and Agiou Dimitriou Street.
Finally, the Hymettus Ring Road will be closed between kilometer markers 14.200 and 13.950 in the direction toward Athens. Traffic will be diverted via the Hymettus Ring Road, Agiou Dimitriou Street, Marathonos Avenue, Pogoniou Street, and the Pallini Interchange.
Drivers are advised to exercise particular caution when passing through the work areas and to follow the existing road signage.
