The owner of a petrol station in Chaidari reportedly shot himself under circumstances that remain unclear while he was in an office on the first floor of the business.
According to information available so far, the 60-year-old man injured himself with a firearm under circumstances that have yet to be determined.
A 43-year-old employee of the business became aware of the incident and immediately alerted the authorities.
The 60-year-old was picked up by an ambulance and taken to Attikon Hospital, where he arrived conscious.
The competent Police Department has launched a preliminary investigation into the incident, with authorities examining the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.
