Athens is empty of crowds on Easter Sunday, with most of its residents having chosen to spend the holidays outside the capital.
Central streets in downtown Athens bear no resemblance to the usual daily hustle and bustle, with heavy traffic and congestion in many areas.
The roads are empty, allowing those who stayed behind to move around with great ease and enjoy their walks in the capital, while spits are “on fire” even in the center of Athens.
