On Thursday afternoon (February 26), 16-year-old Laura, who had been missing since January 8 after leaving her home in Patras, was located.
According to reports, the girl is in the hands of the German authorities, who informed the Hellenic Police, while her family has also been notified.
At the same time, the same sources state that in the coming hours, procedures will immediately begin for her transfer to a hosting facility in Germany, and the local authorities will examine whether she will return to Greece.
The timeline of Laura’s disappearance
After several days of investigations, it was revealed that the minor left her home in Patras on January 8 and arrived by taxi in Athens, specifically in the Zografou area.
She then went to Omonia, where she sold some jewelry she had with her and purchased airline tickets to Frankfurt from a travel agency in the area.
It appears that she flew to the German city on January 8, the same day she disappeared. In fact, reports indicate that she departed two hours before her parents reported her missing to the authorities.
