Autumn-like weather conditions are expected today, Wednesday (22/4), with a drop in temperature as well as rain and thunderstorms that will sweep across the entire country, at least until Thursday (23/4).
The phenomena will initially affect northwestern Greece and gradually spread to central and northern regions, bringing rain and local thunderstorms, while snowfall cannot be ruled out in mountainous areas. Winds will turn northerly, marking the beginning of a temperature drop, especially in Northern Greece.
On Thursday (23/4), the deterioration will extend to almost the entire country. Northerly winds will strengthen, temperatures will drop significantly, and weather phenomena will occur in more areas, with rain and possibly thunderstorms. Despite the widespread bad weather, available data show that its duration will not be long, as instability is expected to ease relatively quickly.
