A 36-year-old woman and her three minor children were rescued by police officers from their home in Oreokastro, Thessaloniki, after it was engulfed in flames.

A fire broke out on Saturday night (May 2) in the attic of a three-story residence in Oreokastro, Thessaloniki.
Police officers from the Oreokastro Police Department who arrived at the scene managed to safely evacuate the woman and her three children, all of whom were reported to be in good health.
Twelve firefighters with five fire engines were deployed to extinguish the blaze. The incident was brought under control at 01:30 a.m., while the fire caused material damage to the property.
