Tragedy in Thessaloniki: 30-year-old motorcycle rider killed – Trapped under car wheels

A 30-year-old woman lost her life in the Thessaloniki area. Her motorcycle veered off course and she became trapped beneath a passing car.

A 30-year-old motorcycle rider was tragically killed in western Thessaloniki on Saturday morning (5/9), after being run over by a car and becoming trapped beneath its wheels.
According to voria.gr, the fatal accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. in the Stavroupoli area, near the former AGNO facility.
Initial reports indicate that the woman was riding a motorcycle when, under circumstances that remain unclear, she lost control, fell onto the road and was subsequently run over by a passing vehicle, leaving her trapped underneath it.
Four firefighters with two vehicles rushed to the scene and, using rescue equipment, freed the woman, who was unconscious. She was then taken by an EKAB ambulance.
The exact causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the Hellenic Police.
